Braeburn Introduces Salus Smart Building Management Platform

Braeburn Systems is pleased to announce the release of Salus Smart Building, a new building management platform for large commercial installations of Salus smart devices. Salus Smart Building gives property owners, facility managers and service contractors one place to monitor and control devices across many buildings and locations, without the high up-front implementation costs or heavy recurring fees of traditional building management systems.

Salus Smart Building organizes sites, buildings, zones and devices into a hierarchical structure that mirrors how a property portfolio is actually managed. Users can be given access at any level, from a regional manager overseeing dozens of locations to an on-site technician responsible for a single building.

“Many commercial properties have outgrown a single thermostat app, but don’t need – or can’t justify – a full-scale building automation system,” says Ben Padal, Senior Product Manager at Braeburn Systems LLC. “Salus Smart Building fills that gap. It’s a lighter-weight building management platform that delivers portfolio-wide visibility and control without lengthy implementation projects or costly licensing fees. Owners can manage hundreds of devices across multiple locations from one place, and still drill down to a single thermostat when they need to.”

“Space heating and cooling make up the bulk of the energy used in buildings, which makes it the single biggest opportunity to reduce energy use,” continues Ben. “Aggregating large groups of devices for better insight and control of your energy expenditure can lead to countless savings over the course of months or years. Contact us today and let’s talk about how we can save your building(s) energy!”

Key features of Salus Smart Building include:

Remote management across locations – monitor and control devices in buildings across a city, a region or the country from a single platform

• Hierarchical building and user structures – organize sites, buildings and zones, and assign user roles and permissions at each level
• Large-scale device control – apply schedules, setpoints and settings to entire groups of devices at once
• Individual device control – drill down to any single device to fine-tune comfort or troubleshoot an issue
• Enhanced analytics – compare runtime, temperature and energy trends across sites to spot problems early and identify savings opportunities
• Built on the Salus ecosystem – works with Salus smart thermostats, hydronic controls, leak detection, and smart plugs and relays, connected through Salus gateways

Salus Smart Building is now available for select customers. Contact Ben Padal at bpadal@braeburnonline.com to learn more.
